# Agrimed

The Agriculture sector is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by the proliferation of data-driven services and technologies. 

Despite the potential of digital transformation, the sector faces several implementation challenges, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These include a lack of access to the technological system, farmers’ reluctance to share sensitive data, and the market's failure to recognise and reward sustainable farming practices. 

Agrimed addresses these challenges by creating a data exchange network (Data Space) applicable to Agriculture 4.0. With the FIWARE Context Broker integration, Agrimed can interact and exchange data within the data space based on the [iSHARE Trust Framework](http://framework.ishare.eu). Communication between Context Brokers relies on notifications, with access rights governed by [iSHARE specifications](http://dev.ishare.eu) for secure data exchange.

The iSHARE Trust Framework, provides explicit instructions on the conditions under which data can be exchanged, ensuring trust in data management. Users can collectively ensure adherence to licences since they have agreed to the same terms, creating a real network of trust.
