The logistics industry is significantly changing as society pushes towards reduced environmental impact, less waste, clear ownership and accountability, and cost reduction through optimisation. Despite some digitalisation in the logistics industry, there is no comprehensive solution that has resulted in Supply Chain 4.0 and end-to-end tracking of environmental data such as CO2 emissions.
DiLLaS, a fundamental solution for the Internet-of-Cargo digital infrastructure, aims to make Supply Chain 4.0 a reality. The true challenge in digitising the logistics flow is managing the substantial data generated, which must be trusted and shared among authorised parties.
Colodas leverages i4Trust to provide a standardised solution for advanced data sharing, using the iSHARE Trust Framework for identification, authentication, and authorisation, while FIWARE enables secure data sharing within data spaces. The data is stored in the FIWARE Data Space endpoint (Orion-based), accessible only to authorised entities within the ecosystem in a zero-trust environment. This ensures all data traffic is encrypted in transit and at rest and adheres to the highest data management and security standards.
